Content Warnings:
Finn's a soldier and a fighter so war and weapons comes up semi-regularly with him. He's also been injured and has a pretty bad back injury. He's recovered but he still has scars. Finn's also one for self-sacrifice and has nearly given his life for the cause and his friends a few times in canon. These notions can appear at times. Lastly, there are a lot of Force/telepathy things often centered around him. If you want to opt out of anything mentioned here or other topics on your mind,
just let me know.

The Force:
It surrounds us, binds us, penetrates us, and moves rocks. Finn has some attunment in the Force, but the strength of his abilities is currently unknown. He's also going through great lengths to keep this power secret.
Hand-to-Hand Combat:
Growing up as a soldier, Finn was one of the best in his unit at sparring. He doesn't skip training.
Weapons:
Finn knows how to use a wide range of basic weapons, specializing in blasters/guns.

re: auras since that's what sparked this whole thing off
if you want finn to get An Read on him a l'il i'm cool with that too. his aura is extremely cold and bleak and dark (i don't think he'd scan as sith to use a direct canon comparison but def like, grey jedi that's Seen Shit). color wise probably mostly red/black? idk how force color coding works ANYWAY he's also got extremely well-architected mental walls. once finn unlocks Friendship that aura might transmute a bit to add melancholy+exhausted, muddying the black more to grey.
the more he knows about the force and finn's ability to use it the more he'll shut down around him, at least initially. he always has some level of defense active but it's more/less depending on the perceived threat of who he's with, so ymmv.

Finn's power is growing so he'll probs be able to get a read on random people soon without really meaning to. I don't think this will change his views on Itachi as much as sort of clue him to keeping an eye on him. But he won't judge based on that, so there's lots of ways for their cr to still go.
