Finn is definitely the better gunner, but in an unarmed car, this actually somehow makes more sense.

[ They are making damn good time, though - enough so that the wind is actually pretty loud outside the car. ]

And yeah, Finn could just teleport us right onto the dance floor if we wanted.

[ Which, speaking of, they are finally approaching Zozzled, and Poe tilts the car down towards the ground. Turns out when you don't have to obey roads or traffic and can go quite a bit faster than a car, getting around is really not slow. ]

[is that intentional? not clear. archie's just being archie, seems like. he almost slips as the car tilts.]

[ Poe laughs, and turns around to look at Finn. ]

Go on. I'll park the car and meet you guys inside. Remind Archie he needs to get his tux from the coat check.

[ His taser- Oh. Finn stuck his head out the window. ] Don't antagonize him!

[ He ducks back in when Poe speaks to him and offers a little laugh. ] Yeah, all right. We won't be hard to find. See you in a bit. [ Finn gets out of the car and sticks with Archie. ]

[he says, just A TOUCH dejectedly, sauntering along next to finn when no big angry man comes to crush his head.]

'Sides, I gotta go do something while you two are dancin', don't I?

[ Finn's just happy that no one's appearing around the corner to lunge at them, so Archie can be pouty all he wants. ]

You didn't want to dance, too? [ Sorry, Archie. He-... Yeah. ]

I mean, we were, but Poe thought about inviting you along so we did. I, uh-

[there's a pause. that... makes him feel weird.]

Oh... well, if it was originally going to be you two spendin' time together then I can scarper and do somethin' else. Ain't no waste of my time.

What? No! No, we wanted you to come along. So long as you want to hang out with us, I mean. We literally just decided to go dancing like... I don't know, thirty minutes ago? We were talking about FanPort and what I did at speed dating and the rave, and Poe thought going out would be fun.

[he blinks and tilts his head, not really understanding what's going on but... whatever. archie throws his arm around finn's shoulders.]

Huh! Well, I ain't opposed to any of it. You know how to dance?

[ That's better. Finn relaxes and gives him a smile. ]

Not really. I just kept drinking until I thought I knew last time.

[he can't help but bark an unexpected, genuine laugh at that.]

Shit, if that ain't how it always goes! Alright, you go look for Poe. I'm gonna go get changed into... ugh, the tux.

[ The voice came from behind them as Poe stepped up to clap Archie on the back. ]

Come on, man, you look so good in a tux. Like all the buttons are about to pop off your pecs, it's great.

[ Oh! Poe's back! Maybe Finn will manage not to stick his foot in his mouth now. ]

Is there actually a dress code? Cause, if not, you can always get creative.

[oh, dear finn, you're perfect. archie puts his arms around both of them, standing in the middle and quietly relieved he's not too short to do this.]

We'll just have to see, huh?! An' if I got the right measurements then they won't be ready to pop. That's the point! I don't wanna get choked out by a tux!

I think the the measurements should be right, but I had to take a couple guesses, here and there.

[ As if on cue, they arrive at the coat check and as soon as the man sees Poe, he pulls out the tux as pre-ordered. ]

Here. See? That should work.

[ At least Poe had to guess at a few parts. Anyway, Finn lights at the sight of a new tux. ]

Hey, that's not bad! You're going to look great, Archie. Don't worry about it.

[he grabs what he's offered and saunters off towards the changing rooms.]

[ Poe has the weird sudden impulse to just follow Archie right into the changing room but thankfully he gets over it and turns to Finn with a grin, instead. ]

Alright. Well, come on in to the party.

[ It was a party, alright. Electro-swing blasts from hidden speakers while people dressed in 20's regalia tear up the dance floor. Poe grins at Finn and gestures for him to follow him to the bar. He points to a sign full of themed cocktails. ]

What can I get you?

[ Finn's a bit distracting, taking in this very different party from the rave or the moonbase. He was so fascinated by the outfits that he was practically blindsided when Poe asked for his drink. And the sign... only made some sense to him. Last time, he just drank until they tasted good. ]

The first one. Scofflaw. [ That one looked sharp. Probably bitter but that's okay. ]

Scofflaw it is. [ Poe leaned over the table, gesturing to the bartender. ]

Hey, Charlie! A Scofflaw and a Bee's Knees, please and thanks!

[ Charlie nodded and waved, before he caught sight of Finn and his eyes widened. ]
