[Blue's mouth twitches into a faint, apologetic smile, hearing the crux of this matter spoken aloud. at least as far as the two of them are directly concerned; Finn certainly has a lot going on beyond this.]

[there's precious little Blue could do to quell Finn's worries, really. at least not in a way that was rather overbearing...
Blue closes his eyes for a moment, sighing, before fixing them back on Finn.]
You trusted me enough despite...that worry. That is important to me.
[he can only hope such a thing can happen again - that he can be trusted despite his weaknesses. for now, though, he can't resent Finn or anyone for seeing someone who needs extra care and protection...because he is that someone. resenting Finn of all people is entirely out of the question.]
[ Oh, if only Finn knew what was going through his head, because that is so not it. He doesn't underestimate Blue. If anything, he understood why he wanted to stay, not because he could be of some help there but because he was powerful there.
