[slowly, then, giving a nonverbal cue, archie leans forward until his forehead is resting on finn's shoulder. he exhales.]
Anyway, don't worry about it. Sometimes mistakes are made. You don't gotta be perfect to be a good friend, y'know?
[ Finn doesn't want him to be considerate, though. He wants to be like anyone else. But he's not, so he should just let that thought go now.
He's also pretty certain he makes things awkward, though. Anyway, it's the last part that hits him kinda hard. He does have to be perfect (or at least try to be perfect) or he'll be left behind. But he also knows that no one is perfect so-

[archie has no idea how hard that would hit finn-- he only said it because he feels it a lot himself. after doing that one big bad thing, it's so easy to convince himself that he's a bad person and everything even slightly wrong he does is unforgivable.
whew. that's a spiral. archie just lets himself enjoy the moment.]
...I won't make every time we do this some weird deep emotional thing. Don't worry.
[ He's still not used to touch. Instead of shying way, though, he finds that he's comfortable with Archie and snuggles closer, smiling from the joke. ]
My emotional plate can handle a bit more. [ But in all seriousness: ] It's not weird. It's what I'm used to, honestly.
[as much as he tries (and often fails) to hold back from people, archie's never doubted finn to be unable to handle all this. it might be slightly different from reality, but even when finn had lost his memories (which he's never really questioned how and when they came back) it was clear to see his empathy through the confusion.
yet he still feels bad. finn is so much younger than him and has been through so much more...]
[archie can't help but snort, laughing into finn's chest.]
