Yes. A very different one.

There are small handfuls of things that are the same, but a lot of it is things our world doesn't have. Like the technology for these devices. Or the base on the Moon. Etc.

This whole time, I had half a mind that we're just really far away from home. Hadn't really believed the talk of different dimensions, but it's the only thing that makes sense, I guess.

Did you have these same holidays back home, too?

That's understandable, especially if this place is a lot like the world you left.


We do. Though not everyone celebrates them. I didn't when I was young.

But you know what they are better than I do.

Were you going to celebrate them here?

My family is going to do something very small. There's only two of us who have celebrated this day a few times since we were young, so it's not really a focal point for most of the rest of our family.

Do you ever celebrate the new days you find here?

It's definitely made me wonder about what holidays people come with that we don't hear about so often either.

I try to. Every holiday is new to me, honestly, so it's not like I'm changing things up. And I like experiencing new things, anyway. Making new traditions and all that.

I do know that where I'm from there's something called Life Day but I couldn't tell you what it's about.

Making the effort to learn new traditions is exhausting but rewarding. I'd love to know more about what everyone celebrates.
