The water's doing a good job of cleaning up the mess, but he helps it along with his hands, making sure to get everything off (even if they're likely to make a mess all over again when they make it to bed), then he pulls away again. ]
[ Finn makes a noise into the kiss, something like a sigh or moan. It's one of those kisses that takes his breath away and reminds him that this is really happening. So he's a little dazed when James pulls away for a second there.
But he manages to hum in acknowledgement before reaching over to turn the water off. Still ends up getting a little sidetracked on the way back, pressing a kiss into his shoulder a couple of times before smiling to himself and stepping away.
Oh, Finn definitely plans to get them all messy again. If for no other reason than to have another shower.
Once he's out and got a towel for each of them, he smiles back at the picture James makes. ] Have I told you today how beautiful you are? [ Probably. ]
[ Jim takes the towel with a thanks, immediately getting to drying himself off. Shoulders and arms, torso, legs and back, then he moves the towel to his hair to rub off the excess water on it.

[ His own grin is teasing which means he's going to be a little insufferable with his compliments for awhile. Jim never seems to get tired of them, though, never grows bored or annoyed. He seems to just enjoy it.

He dries off while he watches James and never once considers clothes. They're totally unnecessary, he's pretty sure. But when he's done, hair still a little damp, he steps forward to take another kiss and tug gently at Jim's towel. ]
[ That's true, it'd be hard for Jim to find Finn annoying when he enjoys the compliments and attention so much. They especially make him smile when they come from Finn of all people.
He lets himself get tugged closer by the towel, grin stretching wider, his own hands going for Finn's towel to instead rid him of it completely. It itches him to just leave it laying around, so he tries to set it down somewhat neatly over the edge of the sink or something, then he urges them both back to the bedroom. ]
[ Finn starts smiling into the kiss when they begin to move, eager about reaching the bed, too. And once they're out of the bathroom, his hands end up on Jim's hips while he turns and backs him to said bed, wanting to sit him down on it, rose petals and all. Why not get them in awkward places?
And that's another thing. He really wants to ask where James got all these petals but that's a question for later. The most important mission right now is kissing James senseless. ]
[ Oh, the petals. Right. With their bath Jim nearly forgot about it, but he chuckles as he's guided to sit down and feels them shift around him on the mattress.
