[ Finn, absolutely ridiculously touched that Peter wants his opinion, takes his time to read over everything carefully. There is a mention of a law against murder that his lips thin over, understanding the idea (obviously) but still finding himself hesitant to support any laws here unless necessary.

But that's clearly not the point of this whole thing. He just doesn't like a power grab. ]

I think some organizing could do everyone a lot of good, and preparation for another emergency like the blizzard is necessary, in my opinion. Personally, I haven't gone to the Augur about anything large like that. I don't really know what to ask for, but I have started looking after the local wildlife, volunteering where I can, and searching for buildings that could be repaired without the Augur's help.

[ He's also been looking for bunkers and the like from the previous civilization. Considering the state of how things appeared to be, he can't understand why nothing seems to be popping up. But anyway- ]

I'll be at her meeting. For the most part, though, I like where she's going with this so far.

You would be great on this council, too, by the way. People trust you, I trust you. You have everyone's best interest at heart and have proven it more than once. Not to mention how well you keep up with the community.

[ Of course, he wants Finn's opinion, it matters a lot to him, and Peter trusts his judgment. He's also questioning that law because installing it leads to decide what to do when someone breaks it, if they need trials, a jail...it's messy, so Peter would rather focus on ways to improve their lives instead. ]

We're in agreement about the food. More options also mean that those who are very young or just not interested all that much in sex can have somewhere to go to get food. Not everyone has an easy time building up rewards.

I didn't consider the local wildlife! Have you been taming the goose? [ Are you secretly a Disney prince, Finn? Please say yes. ]

I'll see you there, then. It can't hurt to see what ideas are discussed in detail and what projects we can work on.

[ On his end, Peter looks a bit sheepish when he reads Finn's words of encouragement. He's used to everyone questioning his leadership abilities, and he's been his worst critic lately, so this means a lot to him. ]

Now, now, you're going to make me blush. [ Finn already did. ] I want to help as much as possible and make sure you and others are safe. So if you also think it's a good idea, I'll look deeper into this.

Maybe we can look into storing food for the long haul, place cache's around for emergencies, things like that. It's something for more extreme cases rather than the day-to-day, but you never when we'll need something like that.

I'm working at the stables now! They have chocobos and some other things, I think? I've been playing with chocobo chicks a lot, honestly. It's fun work! But do you mean Horatio? You don't tame geese. You just hope they tolerate you, and I think he even kind of likes me. Probably because James likes me or something.

[ He absolutely is a Disney princess, though. Canon hasn't shot down that one yet! ]

I think that's a good idea. And I think those reasons are exactly why you'd make a great fit.

Yes, that's a good plan. I was thinking that we could establish a community food pantry, it could work on donations. It would help the newbies on their first days in the city, those are the hardest ones. There are also the people who don't like sex all that much and have a hard time living here, they could have a place to go get food without feeling awkward about it.

I've heard a lot about chocobos, but I still have to see one. They're like big chickens? That people can ride? The chicks must be cute,I hope they're better behaved than the geese.

[ No, Peter will never let go if his grudge against the feathered hellions. ]

Yeah, that one. Horatio is...not so bad even if I am not surprised there's no way of taming geese.

I think that's a great idea. And having more options for people who don't care for sex is also a great plan, too. Just getting more resources together and everything.

[ He's also been on another planet like this one that forced things to happen if it thought people weren't getting enough of their freak on, so to speak. He'd rather that not happen here, but planning for those eventualities is almost impossible. With no solution, he keeps that issue to himself for now. After all, the only time like that he can think of here was those hot springs. ]

He's way nicer than the last goose I hung out with. I think he's kind of sneakier, too, if I'm honest. But he'd probably kill for James, so I'm fine with it.

Yeah. And even those who care for sex deserve to take a break now and then. You know I enjoy it just fine, but sometimes I just want some quiet days and be able to eat regularly without having to get naked first.

We're a small community, but more people come here every few weeks, it will be good if we can work together. I think it's possible. We've been doing good so far, no major problems among people or violence, no crime...

[ Poor Finn, that sounds awful. Peter doesn't remember ever being on another planet like Erku or similar places that didn't allow him to leave. ]

I remember you mentioned that one once. How did you end with a goose in the first place? And I'm glad Horatio likes you because being a goose's enemy is one of the worst things ever.

Finn, I'd trust you with my life. You're more capable than you give yourself credit for. That said, if you believe this isn't really for you, I understand and I won't insist.

[ Finn chuckles about the eating comment. Stars, too true. ]

We can work together. Honestly, I think the community is doing great so far. We're clearly working towards bigger things. [ Hopefully better things, too. ]

Well, this guy was trying to sell me a mechanical sphere that supposedly held an animal inside of it. I thought he was lying and just really needed the money so I bought it and started playing with it when I got back to my place. Then Waldo appeared in my living room, destroyed my couch, dragged a potted plant through the carpet then dragged my favorite jacket through the dirt it left behind, and he basically hated me until Rey and James started spoiling him. We became decent roommates, though.

[ He actually misses Waldo quite a lot, honestly. Anyway, there's a lot of feelings coming to him over Peter's next text and not all of them are good. He'd actually like to argue that he's a lot less capable than Peter may believe but... that's not an argument he should start. ]

That we are, I'm proud of all of us. At first, I thought that people would more trouble adapting to being dragged to a whole different universe and having to fuck to restore the planet, but we're handling things like champions.

A sphere with a magical animal inside? Weird. I see that goose are just as evil in other universes, it's like a horrible fact of life. The jacket thing sure sounds petty. [ Peter would have probably shot at the goose if it dragged his clothes through the dirt on purpose. ] We're lucky Jim's pet is better behaved than that.

You'd be surprised what people becomes when the situation calls for it. Remember that I used to be a Ravager. [ Meaning, he was a thief among other things. ] But thanks for the vote of confidence, Finn. I'll tell Dorothy I've made a decision.

I think it was a dominance thing. [ The goose, not the fucking. ] I tried to fight him at first and it just got worse. By the time I decided that eating him would solve all my problems, James was cooing at him and cuddling him and stuff. It's probably really lucky Horatio's his, actually. He seems much sweeter than Waldo was.

[ And yeah, Waldo was super petty. ]

[ Yeah Peter got that Finn is still talking about the bird from hell, not sex. No worries. ]

It's always a good idea to shoot first, ask questions later when it comes to ducks, Finn. And what is with Jim always managing to befriend the little hellions? Incredible.

Horatio is nicer, and he hadn't even bit me once. [ Truly an accomplishment for all the differnet parties involved. Then again, Peter never tried to hunt down and eat Horatio either. ]
